What's New On The Farm

Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 10:30AM Our Pansies and Viola paks are ready to plant and can even tolerate frost. This year we have a new hanging basket that features a new "Wave" pansy. Similar to the "Wave" petunias, these pansies are vigorous, trailing and low maintenance. You can hang them on your porch with no fear of frost!
Also in our cold frame are early spring vegetables that are ready for your garden. We recommend taking advantage of this spring's dry soils to prepare your garden now and get a jump on planting the crops which actually prefer cool weather. So after you seed your peas and root crops, come by for our vegetable starts, including Broccoli family, lettuces, parsley, leeks and onions.
Friday, April 19, 2013 at 12:57PM Our official opening day is Saturday, April 27. We welcome visitors this weekend, too. Pansies and lettuce starts are hardening in the cold frame and the herbs and geraniums are ready for your window sill. Stop by. The greenhouses are always warm.

Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 9:35AM We are in the greenhouse most of the time now, so those of you who would like to see our plants in person, do stop by. It is warm and green inside and very hopeful.
We are still accepting memberships for our CSA. You can find the details by following the CSA links above.
Many thanks to all who have already signed up. We appreciate your support!
Happy mud season, sugaring season, spring, snow storm,
