BUILDING OUR FARM STAND

Timberhomes LLC designed and built our most recent stand to accommodate a growing clientele. They orchestrated an old-fashioned barn raising on a cold February day in 2007 with the fantastic help of the greater farm community.

Our Commitment To Community


At Crossroad Farm, we are committed to supplying a diverse selection of top-quality, locally grown foods to our community. In addition to the fruit and vegetables we grow, we also offer a range of other, primarily locally produced seasonal items including Wild Hill Organic blueberries, fresh apples, our neighbor Pete’s maple syrup and more!  

In 2008 we started a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program , a rewarding and enriching way to develop and strengthen our local community.  We presently have over 150 members and counting. Are you interested in joining our CSA?

Our fruits and vegetables are sold within a 45-minute drive from the farm to establishments that include local restaurants, local food markets, summer camps, and schools (support our local wholesale customers). In addition, you can find us at the Norwich Farmers Market every Saturday morning. Local food shelves and local schools regularly receive donations of our produce as part of our commitment to give back to our community.

We believe that if we ask you to “buy local,” then we should make every effort to hire local help.   Over the last 30 years we have hired over a hundred local high school students. We have employed students from Thetford, Rivendell and Sharon Academies, as well as Hanover, Chelsea, and Oxbow High Schools.  Last season alone, 15 Thetford Academy students and alumni were part of our crew!
